Hopefully on a bigger bike in the not so distant future. I'm really wondering if I should have held onto the RD. Although it went through fuel, it could move pretty quick. Oh well, like you said its still a bike. Was pretty surprised how quick the pack went, although if I was on the CBR, I'd probably do the same :devil2:

Only got 175 k's out of the last tank to Oakura usely get 210k's don't know where it all went :ride: . Mates tyre on his TL looked very sad by the end . Will be great to see ya on a new CBR .

Was a good ride all up.. though I must say, I nearly missed a 50k corner :nono: luckily nothing was coming the other way... (On the back roads out from kaponga-coast roads.. also nearly lost my tongue on a freakin bridge that did a sharp drop with steep incline.. haha.. wont do that again!)
A very fast pace was set early on.. as I had forgotten to gas up.. it was catch up! But all was well as a couple of others also gas'd up along the way.. Did the first stop, where everyone was waiting for me :ride:  took some pics of the bikes (will have to post when I get home!), and then it was off again along the coast :chase: to Hawera for a fuel stop for some.. another pitstop at the pub.. and then to Wanganui.. there were about 3 groups.. the Ultra fast, the fast, and us (I'd say averaging a very good pace) :devil2:
Well actually I dont think anyone actually slowed down... Fortunately I was the back marker :Punk: for most of the trip.. beautiful day for it. Alot of other bikers on the road, and most of them waved back, which was nice (though I did noticed not many from our group waved out.. all concentrating on catchin Sensei!).
To be expected there were alot of bugs on visors, All in all a great ride :woohoo:

Some rather nice bikes :ride:

It might be the last time you see me on that bike lads & laddesses. I had thoughts of wanting to push my bike off a cliff when I got home and it just got worse the more I thought about it. So I've got a solution in the pipeline... :psst:
Sensei

Don't rush into anything John . Get thing's sorted so you can do or buy just what ya after . Has take to many bikes to get the one I'm turely happy with .

Hmmm...will have to give Floody a bit of shit, called into his shop a few months ago, he said he organised rides around the district, he got me to fill in a register with email etc and he'd email me next time a ride was heading down to WangaFlorida.
Several months back I bought my present TL off one of his mechanics on your last ride down here. Poor bugger had to double up on his mates twin Yamy 450 (I think) for the ride home..........

This one wasn't totally planned.. they were going to do something else.. but post-phoned it in favour to wait for one of the other organisers (actually dont know what the event was suppose to be).. so they mentioned a ride to wanganui via the coast roads... so thats what we did... =)
:edit: well it was planned.. but they changed 'em there plans!

I wish you'd stop posting so many pics of me Scott, I know I'm new HERE but I have to let you know afew truths about Scott, he's got a small helmet size, and if wasn't for all that horse power he'd be better off staying on the couch,it does look good accelerating away from me on the rear wheel though !! Dave and I are going to start a moving block for you.
