Whilst heading North to Wanganui, I saw a large motocade of bikes heading south between Turakina and Bulls and then about 3 hrs later ish, on my return trip, I saw a large majority of you coming back again with a few exercising their arms at the pub at the end of the Foxton straights!
I waved and acknowledged most of you from my cage, with a few puzzled looks in return .... but there is no mention here (that I can find) of what the purpose or destination of the trip was.
All I can say is ..... it looked like a lot of fun .... and hope none of you got nabbed by the traffic officer on the Foxton Straights.
Quite daunting from a cage perspective ... all those bikes, all over the lane and I think passing lane coming towards you! But on the way back there was more single file bikes and I sure got an eyeful ... made my day even more memorable. :ride: :ride:

Ahh the dilema, I know .... but the bike doesn't come in family sized ... and the cage, well ... it's no ordinary cage, it's super cool and super fast and a heck of a lot of fun to drive.

Might perhaps have been a toy run or similar?

They could have been riding to and from the open day at Manfeild - a lot of riders go up to have a look even if they don't take part.

There must have been at least 50 bikes !!!! Surely there must have been a few KBers amongst them?

hopefully therell be a write up in the local rag tomorrow, so i can give the final amount raised [they were dropping off auctioned goods and picking up cash, so still more counting to do] apparently they had $2400 in $20 notes alone.
