hi guys im new to forum here expat livin in aussie gc happy new year to all , im shopping for a bike on craigslist , probley a victory hammer just looking for a reliable shipping company to get the bike back to wellington then forwarded to napier/hastings, id appreciate any help or if you could share any experiences with me good or bad , cheers

Plenty of good freight companies in the US of A Bro. But as also mentioned...Mainfreight are good too. I've imported several vintage dirtbikes from the States with MF. Always been a good experience.

I've used Foytt Shipping twice, and going for a 3rd time soon, with goods, i Knew the guy that owns it in the states as he is a Kiwi, and i grew up with him. Ive brought over 2 cars , and soon wheels and resto parts, he dose a lot of bikes and sell them as well.
cheep i recon, last car cost me $1770 usd to freight an Impala (Cali to ChCh) depo to depo or $200 a CBM for goods

Hey mate. When you do get your ride, I'd be keen on hearing about your experience as I own a Vegas 8 Ball and when I upgrade, I'll be 100% going down your route. I spend a bit of time in LA so will probably buy it in person at Socal Motorcycles in Brea and then get it shipped to NZ. As far as a the shipping/vinning etc goes, I've not got a clue. Cheers, D

I agree with JellyWrestler, go with Bidrider. Talk to Jason, He's really easy going. I got a couple of quotes for two different bikes ( from states to nz ) and they were between $500 to 800 NZD.

This is his main job so he knows what he's doing. He'll sort you out. Good luck
