My money on Dennis to win the title, who finished 3 last time? no Stroud or Bugden this time........... Shiriffs missed out today but will be back in the mix, I reckon the battle is going to be Dennis/Craig/Nick all series long.

Nick's only mistake today was picking which side to pass the lapped rider at the dipper, a bit unfortunate....my money would be on Nick tomorrow, and probably the series

Where is Bugden this year? Injured?

5th January 2014, 20:36
Bugden is enjoying his summer at home this year.... Fitzgerald with electrical gremlins mvnut? Really? I guess you could say that the fuel pump failed to pump the air in the tank.... And then it could have been an electrical bolt that came loose in race 3......

Sent from my Nokia using Tapa talk.

Hadn't really factored Fitzgerald into the mix prior, but if he puts gas in the tank next time (opps, sorry, ment checks the electrical connections.....), he really could be a spoiler.

It sure was awsome racing to watch on www.livetiming.co.nz Thanks team. The rider that stood out the most to me was Baillie Perriton, very impressive to race with the 2 riders that he was.

Tyler Lincoln, Big Congratulations on your Tripple

Means a lot to Bailie to get praise from someone such as yourself Shaun:niceone: He has put in SO much hard work this season...not just on any bike he could lay his hands on...but fitness/diet etc The whole nine yards. And its paid off. Found it hard to cope last year (debut season) as he was only 15... with riding well and getting no recognition as Luke stole the show. But its amazing what a difference a year makes at that age in his maturity and outlook. I will do everything I can to get this young lad the breaks he deserves whether it be Aussie or Europe. Every $/minute I have put into him has been returned 10x over in appreciation / commitment and results. His current sponsors are over the moon with their:first: investment.

That is exactually why I want too man, I have been offered one for manfield, but will weight untill it is a 100% Guaranteed offer. Time for an old has been to have some fun on 2 wheels again. I would have been racing in the STH this yearon my 600 but have to move house this week so could not make it down there dam it.

Another young rider may end up with my 600 for the Nth Island rounds, just got to confirm a couple of things yet

Dennis got Nick from ninth, not a bad effort don't you think????, the only reason Nick got back in front was because of Smith's stunt after he fucked up it at the hairpin, could easily been three down at the left hander- Dennis ain't happy!

Go and watch the footage from the hairpin entry to the left turn exit again, nothing to do with your boy Cole being clever, good or special- thank James Smith for the position change.

Dennis coming through from 9th was very impressive, however the both had to deal with James overcooking things (racing incidents happen in races) which Nick managed better. Can't wait for todays racing.

Yes , from ninth is good. I watched the start on ctas and he was a rocket to the first corner.
I'm not a fan of one over the other, in fact any really !

Nice that we can see a little bike racing on ctas, might even watch a couple today as it's too windy for me to ride.

...from the Superbikes down to the Development class, the two Sth Island rounds have been totally absorbing and exciting. Dennis looks real hungry, but the battles over two rounds between Tyler Lincoln and Matt Hoogie on the 125's were fairly epic...the stellar performance over two rounds has to be Baillie Perriton's efforts...such talent out there in all the classes...too much to mention...yeehaa..

If he had changed the internal rear shock setting when I wanted him to ( instead of being afraid to do so, but riders get like that ) he would have had a better weekend!
It was a risk to do so ( you dont get a test session inbetween races ) but it paid off in spades as he a was in the third race at Levels then able to stay with Dennis the whole race instead of fading with tyre degradation.

Lucky for him he was starting way up ahead on the grid then, and manages to "stay with Dennis", imagine if Dennis had qualified on the front row in the first place.......... I would expect he does not qualify that badly again, so look out!!! (you would have to have pretty bad luck to break another top out spring!)

Dennis is a delight to work for and (frankly) always has been. Im thankful we found the issue with the top out spring before the last race. But it wasnt that so much that was frustrating him in practice, it was a fueling problem.
But yes 4 , 2 then 1 from 9th grid spot is impressive.
He and Nick have certainly expressed their intentions. As contracted Ohlins riders they both receive the same attention, as do the other 4 contracted Superbike riders. How they choose to maximise all the possibilities is up to them

With all respect to Nick in this instance he wasnt fast enough in accepting that a change in setting was called for. As I said it was a risk but it paid off.

Im glad it worked well, but usually if the bike isn't sorted before race day it's generally to late unless the bike is so bad that anything is worth a try. Hence I can see why Nick was a bit scared of change. It would be a similar comparison (I think) to be tempted by a hot looking chick on wedding day - but its far more practical to try the change on stag do night first and then decide before hand.

Its a real mix of new riders and some established ones this year , which is great to see - and it has provided some good close racing. First time winners like Smith, Moir, is neat as well. Hopefully we see Fitzgerald on that list too at some point MV.

Exactly, no one should underestimate Hayden. He deserves some good luck or rather an end to a run of bad luck.
