Recently got back from a holiday up in the Bay of Islands and did a bit of riding through the awesome rides up there also.
While I was riding through Kerikeri after doing a jaunt through the Mangamuka Gorge I noticed my pants started sticking to the seat of my bike.
When I hopped off I saw that the vinyl Alpinestars logo on my textile pants had worn off onto the seat. I've tried cleaning it off with a few things here once I got back home but I haven't had any luck. Planning on taking it to a leather upholstery next week to see if there's anything they can do or if perhaps I may just have to re-cover it, as it seems a bit thin in that area anyway.
Between now and then though, anyone have any ideas as to what else I can try to get it off? The logo is similar to a vinyl transfer you'd get on a tshirt. Pretty poor design really to put a logo in that place on riding pants and sorta surprising it hasn't happened earlier but with this summer's heat so far I guess it was bound to happen.
