Who's the best mechanics for repairing Chinese pit bikes in Auckland?

any mechanic worth anything would tell you to burn the fuken thing. Also,the cost of tuning one will be higher than buying another.

Get a real pretend bike.

Try your local bike shop first , if they won't look at it ask them if they know someone who will.

Doesn't sound like a major . Count yourself lucky it wasn't built in N Korea

You shouldn't need a good mechanic.

If you haven't messed with it, then the fix will be real easy.

Does it have electronic ignition or is it old school?

Has anything fallen off it whilst you were riding (apart from you)?

A ten year old could fix it, give it a go, there is nothing difficult about working on them... they're only a little more complicated than a chainsaw.

Perhaps describing the symptoms might help? If it's a two stroke, then put a new plug in it and some fresh premix.

A bit of Aerostart normally wakes anything Chinese up, or at the very least, it'll make it give some sign of life (which is good). If there's no sign of life at all, then you'll need to test the plug against the engine to see if it's actually sparking at all. They're so poorly made that it could be something as simple as the pathetic plug cap no longer making contact with the plug or something equally trivial.

Don't give up hope though, and don't pay some monkey until you've at least had a swipe at it, there's nothing you can fuck up that they won't fix as a matter of course.

Turns out the elevator in said building had NEVER been serviced.This is far from an isolated case and I can assure you they apply the same attitude to most things mechanical including motorcycles if any of the chinese owned and ridden motorcycles and trucks that rumble lurch and crash around my island every day are anything to go by.

LOng story short their products are not really made to be repaired,and if you cant swap the bad parts for a good one they expect you to throw it away and buy another one,after all they velly cheep right?
