Was just looking at the RTA website (NSW, Australia)

Link (http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/rulesregulations/penalties/motorcycles.html)

and saw this.

Motorcycle Helmet... Penalties for not wearing one.

Unhelmeted Rider
$450 with 1 unhelmeted passenger :nono:
$725 with 2 unhelmeted passengers :nono: :nono:
$950 with 3 unhelmeted passengers
$1175 with 4 or more unhelmeted passengers

With each passenger without a helmet getting a $225 fine.

Our best effort was 4 of us on a XR500 while holding a bicycle out the side. so thats $950 and whatever extra we get for the bicycle

theres a photo of me riding a gsx1100, old model with a whopping 14 people hanging off it. At bay mc 1 night stand rally this year. did a whole lap of the grounds without anyone touching the ground. 4 girls in front of me, 1 guy standing on front axel holding bars, 1 person on each footpeg, 3 sittin behind me and 1 on the back guys sholders. Was really hard to ride, but a few beers and youll try anything...

For the record... everyone on the bike was over 18, no midgets.

Just realised im logged in as the misis. The rider, me is FROGGYFRENCHMAN!!!!!

When I was hireing out bikes it was quite common to find people from other countries 3 up,to them it was normal, just what you did.I was just a hired hand, but the boss used go up and go apeshit at them, telling the third,or 4th guy to get off....they thought he was wierd.

I guess so. most passengers on a 150cc bike. where else can we put someone.
if I sit really far forward, and then someone small behind me, someone might be able to stand on the sissy bar and hold onto the middle persons sholders

shit while we are at it why not make a pyramid on the bike. anyone got pom poms?

edit: hmmm might need sam and placid to jump on while its moving or it might not get started. dunno how it would handle just being stationary.

lol if you are real keen, you could have someone sitting on the tank with thier legs over the front of the bike, one person per peg, one on the pillion seat and one standing...

*looks for some pom poms* If your serious about them I might be able to track down a drag queen who'll lend us some :Punk:

Had 7 up on a DT100 once, handled it ok....I wouldn't actually have a clue whether it would collape or not.
That was just the most negative comment I could think to make.

if the weight is placed in the right places i don't see why the bike shouldn't handle it.

One of the questions i got asked for my provisional in 1977 was ..How many people are you allowed on a Motorcycle with sidecar...i said 3 and failed :oi-grr: probably should have read that bit. :hitcher:..never seen a sidecar with 2 passengers yet.
