Another cool battle with Hole shot KIng. I did get of the line quicker in one race but not on camera. True true I did.

rich was the man ! rode very well , unless the person in front takes the corner as fast you can on the fast right hander you lose so much corner speed and look like your bike is slow.. my camera shots look crap , never had a rear camra look so jumpy , so i blame the rear shock lol , tire was choping up to

Hahaha bad news there's going to be two other fast team shnanny mb100s there Dave riding with mikes motor and my one will be a lot quicker than it has been , you could always just ride your rgv and say its a 100 nobody's checked your motor before should be fine

Thanks for posting that, was a fun race, but I need to get my corner entry on 2 & 8 sorted again. Plus some of my midrange back would be nice. First couple of races Rich was untouchable.

Well I just checked a random lap time from the video time code. 42.06. I will check some other laps. I am sure we have now broken into the high 41 seconds. Need to borrow a transponder next sunny day to try clam a lap record.

Good stuff. At an Easter meet a few years back I did like a 44 on the 50 and it put me 3rd on the grid. Times have moved on.

Cheers all, that was a fantastic race day.
The level of grip out there was huge!
I'm pretty sure that's the fastest I've ever been around Kaitoke. Will do the video lap timing thing too, just to compare.
I know there is almost 1/2 a sec more to drop too, my lack ov over-rev with the current Ignition is a bit of a handicap.

Knowing what your power spread is I was surprised to see you right up there. You'll be scary with some power.

Urrgh. I'm stiffer today than I was yesterday.
And I have a bruise on my heel which is odd. Have to get my head around that uphill again, but I'll be more cautious on cold tyres on the left hander.

I'll check the others later.
I Missed turning on the camera for race 4, Sure I would have just cracked in to 43's in that one.
I'm sure they guys I was holding up were lapping faster too.

With Dave
45.24
44.46
41.42
42.12
41.98
42.86
42.09
42.04
41.99
I seam to remember another time that was 41.4. So not really going any faster than we have done already. I am sure we will crack into the 40's soon. If you look at all the apex's I missed and bad lines being ridden. 40 second laps don't seem that silly.

You two are right on the Cusp, I think if Dave had the lost power back he'd be there.

I don't think so. Needs to be a transponder to really count don't it?

Proper proper I would say so but reasonable stop watch timing OK for a comparison...

I have glen at a 42.563 on 20/09/09 on the mylaps site at Kaitoke and me at 42.678 the little BASTARD
And he dropped that time when we were up there last (based on Skunks sideline stop watch)
Yes!
I can quote posts from another thread...

A record is a record. Transponders make things easy but doesn't make other timing methods invalid.

I do agree with Dave D in the other thread though, it should be an official time; not just off a mates stopwatch.
(Which of course doesn't necessarily contradict what you are saying)
EDIT: Although now many have on board camera's, great and potentially very accurate proof...
