A lot of racers are wearing RST leathers, so I took the gamble that their textile kit would provide similar quality.
It does.
The Slice jeans are made from a 600 denier Polyester and 1680 denier Nylon outer shell, coated in Teflon. They also feature CE approved knee armour. And they work. I had the misfortune to lose the front end one wet morning. Despite sliding down the road (with the bike staying with me for at least part of the time), I was fully protected, with no bruising and not a scrape on the jeans.

I would recommend the RST Slice textile jeans to anyone. But do try on first as their snug fit meand you might need a larger size.
