We had a great time in Welly this weekend to celebrate WT's big 3-0. It was all last minute planning and the idea was concocted by Jimbo and Deano because they knew I didn't have the funds to do something special for the boy.
We drove down on Friday and arrived at Jimbo and Kaths house wherupon we proceeded to get stinkingly sloshed. The following morning three very pasty faced peeps were treated to Kaths culinary delights in the form of pancakes. With a good feed in us, and the morning almost over, WT and I then tried to catch up with as many people as we could, as well as WT spending some time with his beautiful girls.
That night it was off to Deano and Nicky's for a night with WT's closest friends - and an awesome night it was with lots of alcimahol, laughter and silly hijinks.
Sunday morning had us up early to head to Manfield for the track day. Jimbo kindly leant WT his bike so he could have a session on the track before we headed back.
So a HUGE thanks to Jimbo, Kath, Deano and Nicky who provided us with food, lots of alcimahol, and accommodation. Also to Grunta who flew down from Auckland and travelled back with us to help with petrol costs. And of course thanks go to all our friends who we caught up with and helped make this such a memorable birthday for WT. We luffs you :love2:
