Febuary events: What's new? I'd appreciate an update, as I arrive 29 Jan

:Oi: Trying to organize my riding route round NZ & leave Oz in a weeks time so this is my last ditch attempt ! The trips all about riding & is based around upon coming motorcycle events in Febuary .Only using this forum (as it appears the best ) these seem thin on the ground ! ( my first 10 days are in North Island for the big Hampden Classic meet ) then onto South Island for 3 weeks ...have no route set there yet as this would likely be based on events there, so if you know of any Street Racing, Classic racing, good Rallies, Swap meets etc,etc please reply . I'm an Older fart ...but still 20 @ heart ! & I'll be winging my my round on an old SR-500, camping as I go . Very Happy to meet up for a Beer & chat with any fello riders along the way...... drop me your contact details ( email & phone number ) & I'll try & give you a hoye a day or two before I get to your area.

sweet - im up north that date and didnt know about the battle of the streets so will go have a look at that


not sure of the exact date you are in the si but there is the sound of thunder in chch 22 and 23 feb http://www.bearsracing.co.nz/ and the march hare rally in waimate on 7 and 8 march http://www.marchhare.co.nz/

The Rally site link is good aye ! shame I miss the Feb rallies though ..I'd have gone to them but as I'm still in the North Island then it a no goer..but I''be attending the BEAR's meeting now THANKS.
