Came across this while looking for something much less expensive and couldn't help but think it belonged here.

Oooh, specific colour scheme.

It may not be what you were referring to but that's true. Many a 'returning' rider is financed by a bequest.

Two of my current new bikes were when my dear old dad left me a land tank. Cars are expensive when bought new. Certainly not worth it.
Not sure about the 'returning' bit.

I had a couple of people I know in mind when I wrote that. One bought a Tesla about a year after her dad died. One bought a new Honda 1300 cruiser courtesy of his late mum. I might have mentioned this before but when I heard he was buying a bike after many years I asked his wife if he'd like some books to read. She assured me he'd figure it out. A short time later I asked how he was doing, the bike was away for repairs. "A dog ran out." He shoulda read the bloody books.

Sisters hubby had a mate;. Wrote off a cop car.
The excuse was Black labrador. At night.

That became a running joke for unlikely excuses.

Or "swerved to avoid a pelican?"

This ended up in a fraud trial of course.

webbs auctions have had a poor sell through rate, very few bikes with any bids so far https://auctions.webbs.co.nz/auctions/catalog/id/911?utm_source=meta&utm_medium=paidsocial&utm_campaign=Motorcycles+911+-+%2323CC+30Mar_13Apr+-+Multi+Objectives&utm_content=Motorcycles+911+-+Install+GIF+%E2%80%93+Copy&utm_id=120241462031990006&utm_term=120241462032270006&fbclid=IwY2xjawREaS9leHRuA2FlbQEwAGFkaWQBqy-K7riiRnNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR5Lu BS81dX0-GY_PHx8_NFfE5H_0DZsYa6ESXw2BARiDbH99D71zMXBQxHQDQ_ aem_AcWy3JYpYVIyW-ofwooGrQ

What an eclectic mix. The stand out is the $30k Vespa 90 and why you would want some shitty 80s Lewis leathers of no province for any price, let alone what could buy you some new Alpinestars for instance.

Mate they are awesome. With an RZ500 in there it would be spectacular.
Apart from the original boat anchor. .
