I need to carry a few items to and from work, laptop, some tools and lunch etc. What is the best option considering I am nervous of bungies. The vetura sport rack and sport bag looks good, does it serve the purpose

The Ventura is great, but on my busa I went with a Givi hard system. Lockable, waterproof, more secure and can be left on the bike with no worries of it being pinched or damaged. I ran Ventura bike packs on all my previous bikes and while you can't beat the volume capacity of those bags, the Givi top boxes are superb. You can even wire in brake light kits to add visibility!

Don't think they would make a rack specifically for a 6r because of the subframe, but a universal mounting system with a Givi plate bolted on would do the job.

Cheaper then ventura, more versatile by way of switching to future bikes, and doesn't ruin the ass of a sports machine. Brilliant piece of kit. If you really wanted to, look at the R25 back pack instead. I've got both and I ride a Daytona. Pricey if you compare them to normal backs but built crazy good and the back packs are bloody comfy.

I can fit a shit load of stuff in each of those packs and the tail packs are 100% waterproof (I've heard guys that have held them underwater to check).

I wouldn't recommend any other gear for the bike. The ozzy site will take their GST off as well.

Yeah that was another reason I suggested it. Works out a damn good price. They're bloody good. I don't think I've heard of anyone killing there's yet which is pretty impressive. I think mine took about a week from Oz. When I got one from the US it took 2 weeks.

No worries. They're one of those "best kept secrets". Only a few people know about them in NZ and I don't think there's ever been a bad review on any of their products. They'd, justifiably, sell a shit load more if they had dealer space. I'm happy with my exclusivity though :D
