2008 Yamaha R6 Race bike: $8500

Fully set up race bike suitable as a track bike / club bike or even nationals level race bike. Only selling as I have bought a ZX6R with more goodies on it.
Stock engine but making a healthy 121HP so a very capable bike with room to improve.

- Full Yoshi exhaust
- Reflashed ECU
- Power Commander 5
- K&N Filter
- K-tech SSRK piston kit with K-tech 1.05 springs
- Revalved shock with K-tech 1.0 spring
- New, never been used and unpainted 'Just Fairings' race fairings
- Vortex Rearsets
- Vortex Clip-ons
- New Vortex Chain
- Near new DP race pads
- Hel steel brake lines
- Recently installed new cooling system hoses

I'll throw in a few spares but the ones below I'll be selling seperately or with the bike as a package:

- K-tech 35DDS rear shock (hardly been used)
- Forks (2006 model but pretty much the same)
- Wheels (two rears, one front)
- Sprockets
- Fairings
- Standard Exhaust with FMF carbon can
- Power Commander Auto-tune
- Radiator
- Vortex Rearsets

The bike has been crashed so it's got a bit of damage to the tank especially but it's only cosmetic. I have recently had the frame checked by F1 Engineering, which found everything to be straight and have the print outs for this.

Im interested in your rims. How much you want for them? Come with brake discs and tyres?

I've got two spare rear rims and one spare front, all with discs on them. $400 per rim and I have a range of used Metzeler interact race DOT race tyres and wet tyres - some are well worn and some are hardly worn at all.

Sorry to get off topic here but can you please tell me where did you get the ECU flashed for this beauty? THANKS in advance!

I have the cable and software to flash the ECU, can do yours if you send it to me. The only problem is that I have heard of ECUs getting bricked. I've flashed mine about 20-30 times no problem though so unlikely.

Price lowered to $8500, open to deals with spares etc. This bike is too good to be sitting there gathering dust!

Eight and a half grand, for a seven year old supersport bike without wets or the good suspension?

Good luck with that.

Given that it's the latest model and still competitive I'd say it's about right. It has got good suspension and I do have spare rims available but I realise that not everyone will need them so they are there as an extra.

Granted you would struggle to go quick on it Drew :motu: ...but with a good rider it can be competitive at National level.

I'd buy it if I was getting into supersport and like I mentioned, I'm open to deals / offers.
