Hey guys,

I'm in the market for a 125cc scooter. I've tried out a few and the AN125H seems to be a good size fit. The fact that it's only $2500 is another plus. Has anyone have any experience with a AN125H and could tell me if they're reliable and what not?

Cheers,

Sam

yeah they are pretty much, not quite as good as the uz125(but you cant buy them new now),but id also check out the yamaha range if you want a better look (in my eyes only)plus the yam is fuel injected.

My wife has had one for 36000km and 4 years, goes great, just basic service items, no issues and good fuel economy. The an is slightly bigger than the uz, but not as big as the Burgman obviously. Personally I'd go second hand there are heaps of cheap ones out there with low km's. Only gripe is it just does 100..wife doesn't mind but I prefer a 150 like the piaggio or something

I was thinking about getting one second hand but late models were only around $2000 while new is $2500 so it didn't seem worth it. In terms of only going 100 that's more than enough for me. I'm only going to be using it in the city anyways.

1700 if you don't mind the colour yellow haha. I bought the 08 model in 2010 for 1350 with 3000k on the clock.
I just feel like you lose money as soon as you walk a new vehicle out the door.

I recently spent an entire day on it riding around Auckland and it was brilliant, plenty of power.

I'm selling this at the moment if you're keen to have a look...
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=683636012

It's the 125 version, not 150, but do 100km on the motorway, and easily keeps up in 70kmph zones in town.

PM or contact via ad if you're interested. Will save you just under a grand on the AN125 price ;) chur

Thanks for the offers guys but I'm keen to buy new for once in my life! I know it's not logical but fuck it.

Pretty sure Suzuki have them in their current promo with good finance.

Just buy it - it will have a new bike warranty so good for a couple of years stress free and frankly they make scooters to last forever running at almost full throttle!

I should get one - leave the XR6 at home and the fuel savings will pay for the scooter.

Actually if I get one of the 50cc ones you can ride on any license my daughter could use it when she turns 16 mid year ......
