Been meaning to get a bike for years, but finally having graduated, got my engineering degree and having some income decided it's time!

Want something lams approved, sporty, reasonably comfortable for someone 6'1", so would be interesting to see what people suggest.

Looking forward to joining you guys in the land of bike ownership.

dont listen to those pussies. You need a thousand CCs and you need them now. Save the expense of three fuken bikes to get fulled up,
just buy one like a boss and spend the rest on fuel and tatoos to impress all the sweet bitches youd never pull with a gay ass <999cc.
Dont buy korean or italian abortions.

can i still get bitches if i have two bikes that cc's add up to a thou?
or am i doomed, never to have a some broad riding pillion? ruining my ride, by bogging out my engine and suspension, and slapping me if the speedo touches 110....

Like telling a joke, the line between someone getting angry and laughing their ass off is a fine one. Same goes for getting your lady friend all excited on the back of your bike...lots of speed equals fun after the ride, too much speed and you'll be having that fun by yourself...

And no, multiple bikes to reach the 1000cc mark doesn't work...:bash:

I'm selfish with my riding, hence why i like my gb :shifty:
no pillion seat or pegs

To be honest I'm never sure with ladies saying "can you take me for a ride" do they just say it to try be cute, or are genuinely wanting a ride?
Either way, I laugh and tell them to get their own :devil2:

So it seems I'd better be a man and get a litre bike, don't want to get laughed at on a whimpy lams approved bike

i've heard there's harley on tm that is a steal for $60k atm, that coupled with some tats should get the job done :niceone:

C'mon now, tell me you can read the difference between a ride and a roll in the hay...

Nah mate, drop in at a few bike shops, sit on a few bikes and ride some...add your budget and the problem solves itself. Picking a bike is as personal as choosing a woman, too many variables to consider

So got around to buying a bike! Took this zxr for a ride and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to ride. Checked out another couple bikes before deciding the zxr it was!

First day of ownership involved some riding around auckland before deciding to head to tauranga, the second day involved a trip over to hamilton before heading back up to auckland. Pretty happy clocking up 450km in my first two days of bike ownership, heres to many more!
