View Full Version : Best way to fix an old exhaust

I want to fix the existing pipes on the beast but which is the best way to go ...??? There are a couple of holes in the final section and the first joints are loose and a bandage doesn't cut it. Am I better off going to an exhaust specialist or just take her to a bike shop and get them to do it ... I don't want a new system as I would rather keep it all original and the rest is still OK ... Maybe just the headers need a bit of grind and polish but the rest still looks good ....
Any ideas would be welcomed ....

Thanks mate ... I wasn't too sure if those shops were OK with bikes ... I guess an exhaust is the same whether it's on the cage or the bike !! Once that's done the compression will be better I guess and the back-firing will reduce somewhat !! She might even sound cooler ... maybe ...
