SV650 in great condition despite (or because of?) the high mileage

Consistently used and maintained well since new - 2 owners. Great reliable bike never had any issues and should do many more km's for the new owner. Only thing it needs coming up is new chain - will get this done for asking price.

If I remember correctly, the SU version commenced from 2008. Bike advertised is a 2003 model so might not be LAMS approved.

Thought we had some buyers but hasn't happened yet :(. Have put a new O-Ring chain on and got a fresh WOF - no issues. Has current rego - all good to go.

Anyone keen on this? I'm actually pretty tempted to sell my ST1100 and keep this instead :crazy:.

I was talking to a mate this morning about it and he was saying that this is comparable to a $6000 bike. Even if (worst case scenario) the motor gave up in 10,000km these are so common you could pick up another from a wrecker for under a grand and still be winning.:niceone:

The gearbox is great by the way...as is everything else. No issues that I can see coming up for it.

Might even throw in some gear for asking price - got a nice new tail bag and a little tank bag.

Sorry to say I see it as a $2k ride due to the kms. Yeah good k's but it will put most off. $3.5 will score a interesting old Japper with potential with less kms.

I've had interesting old Jappa's before (and interesting old Triumphs and interesting old BMW's) and I'd take this over them any day for ease of maintenance, reliability, handling, performance and economy :yes:
