Yamaha XT550

Hi, I am wanting to buy a 1982 to 1984 yamaha xt550 in good working order and road legal or reg on hold, also want enough parts to make another engine up.
If anyone knows where i can get this bike, please message me . Please let me know the price etc.

ive heard of a gd one in tga @5.5k but think a 650 would be twenty times better for that money

ty, i am thinking of letting the 550 go and looking at something 600+ enduro now.

id rec xr/dr 650 min unless your after the thrill factor that only two strokes or hi tech four strokes offer, lighter & way faster.Best of all you can get parts for them...Ive got an xr6 but they are quite gutless really,mates TT6 isn't any better either - just joggers in reality

Yay I have a bike, bought a 2002 honda xr650r with only 4k on the clock. mint condition. was stored up and hardly used.

nice choice-those are a big step up vs the 550 you were orig considering and quite a bit better than the old XR6...i'll endeavour to get one once they drop to 3k
