Cheap tracker? Wire to battery maybe? Or will it drain the battery dry hmm

How many people here actually have some GPS device on their bikes?

It would kill the battery on my bike for sure, but that's Italians for you. I reckon the $50 paddock stand (http://www.1-day.co.nz/products/AACAAN589) is a better buy...

If it's your daily rider, wire it to the ignition so it only charges when your bike is running.

That being the case, could well be the best fiddy you ever spent.

I know of a few who use them. I know of two people whose stolen bikes were recovered due to them - one by the police, the other took a shotgun around to take it back within half an hour of it being taken

I'm scared of GPS trackers. The last one I had fitted to my bike melted a hole in the power supply and started smoking. I disconnected it before I had a fire.

Didn't want it to end up like Rastuscat's ride eh :brick:

Judging by the packaging I have similar units from same manufacturer.
Prob good or about three days before battery drain is an issue if bike not used everyday.
The biggest problem is finding space to install them on most bikes.
The geofence feature is cool, although one night mine must have had trouble with satt' signal and started texting that it had left the shed triggering a full on Battlestations alert...
Even at the normal price f 150-200 for these type of units it's good value.
You can usually add several phone numbers as admins so mate or wife can see where you are, although depending on how you ride or where that may be bad idea lol.
