Those sort of problems would be associated with your computer or your ISP. Can't see how anyone else would be effected. Maybe others on xtra are experiencing problems as well.

I believe it is called having a virus.
No doubt some of our more tech savvy crew will be able to respond more tomorrow while they're surfing KB all day at work.
What?

Go to Tools > Internet Options > General and check your home page address.
It should be http://xtramsn.co.nz/home/
There are some web sites around that change your home page for you without you knowing about it until next time you start your pc. Also check your firewall is working properly (you DO have a firewall, don't you??) as this tends to indicate a problem there.

Goto http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
Download Spybot S&D
Download the updates
Run it.

Definatley spyware mate.
Follow the advice here - or try Microshafts's Spyware tool if the others dont work.
I have 4 different Spyware progs on my machines, some find things other don't. And if you're using IE makes sure you have all the latest patches for it, and that your homepage (Tools>Internet Options> Genral Tab) is set to Xtra or wherever you want to start from.
Good luck.
