About 6 bikes heading down west coast to QT and looking for great pubs/ places to stay along the way. Nelson area, west coast, QT, wanaka, Arthur's pass?

Place to stay in Wanaka is the Bella Vista. Guy who runs it is a biker & can't do enough for you. Really nice guy called Paul.:2thumbsup

Blackball Hilton is a good one. Marj's place in Alexandra also.

Lake Hawea pub is worth a look, bit close to QT but accommodation and meals are good.

Stayed at parkview motel in alexandra last time I was there overnight, nice man that runs it insisted on putting the bikes in the garage overnight, I was happy enough to leave the dirty old ducati out in the rain for a wash.

The Kumara pub has been seriously refurbished and has rooms, haven't made it over for a night yet but think such behaviour in a small town should be encouraged.

The Chalets in Cromwell is good, cheap rooms and a restaurant that does reasonably priced basic meals and bar.
