Try hitting a small section of it with a heatgun. Be careful tho, suggest you try on the underside first?

Proper dirt bike guards don't look right until they've been sewn up with fishing line and araldite.

heat. heat gun should do it, usually air dryer doesnt quite have enough heat. gently waving the heat across the plastic not staying on one spot, should bring the shine back into it

Thx for the help guys , ended up just scraping and sanding the guards . they look like they've spend a few seasons going around Mercer in the pumice sand.
Looked at the UFO guards on Trademe no matches, Acerbis are doing new Baja guards and Elba headlight kits on EBay Ita, 300 euros and 150 euros to freight from Italy, OUCH.
Usually get me bits from Andre at www.enduroklassiker.at friendly knows his stuff etc.
