Take it to Avon City Suzuki, had nothing but good experiences with them. Avoid Yamaha like the plague lol

I found Suzuki to be expensive for parts and labour. Roger tends to be much cheaper since he's an independent mechanic who also uses aftermarket parts instead of always using expensive OEM parts, and he doesn't charge as much for labour.

I try and avoid stealerships wherever possible. Suzuki wanted to charge me $223 for a fuel pump assembly seal, which is a normal servicing part that needs to be replaced every time the in tank fuel strainer is cleaned. I had one made in the USA and it cost around $30 including shipping. All for a fucking rubber seal. Also it takes about the same amount of time for parts to arrive from "Auckland" as it does for me to import it myself from the USA.

It's not just Suzuki dealers that rip you off, all of them do it.

Weird. My fuel pump seal (SV1k) from Sportzone was around $5-10.

As an aside, if anyone has damaged pipes I know of some-one who's very good good at fixing dents etc, he's the man.

Used to work with John Britten back in the good old days.

I would avoid Duane's bikes and skis. Last time I was there he gave me a very false indication of what was wrong, (suggested rebuild when only fuel jets were blocked). Which was either incompetence or a scam because I had an L-Plate on my bike.
