View Full Version : WTB In need of a side stand for my Bandit

I am looking to have the lowering kit removed from my bandit but need to then put a standard side stand back on it. Does anyone have a suitable side stand for a GSF650 that they are wanting to sell?

Maybe these should be in the 'pixs that make you jizz (moist?)' thread for the ladies?

lolz. No, I haven't been standing in a bucket of poo in an attempt to grow taller; and I already have a pair of 4" stiletto thigh-high boots and another pair of very psychedelic 5" stiletto shoes (in a crafty attempt to look taller than I really am). Neither of which I would be brave enough to wear while riding...
Balu finds the bandit a little too low for him since lowering it for me, and wants it put back to factory height so he can ride it more comfortably (or 2up, which doesn't work atm being lower to the ground). When he lowered it for me he modified the side stand accordingly but obviously to revert to the original state I need to locate a replacement stand.
p.s. if anyone knows how to grow magically and extra couple of inches (height, not length - get your mind out of the gutter!!) I'd love to not be such a short arse!

They can separate you leg bones and put your legs in a brace. The bone on either side of the 'separation' grows towards each other and eventually reforms a single bone. I think the brace is adjusted as the bone grows to stretch the leg. No idea how much longer the leg can get, but it sounds awful.

Ask Roger at Action wreckers on Barrys Point Road. He may have one.

Yeah, thanks - I checked his website out this afternoon and see he's currently wrecking a 1200 bandit so fingers crossed he'll reply favourably to my question regarding the side stand.
Hope all is going well on the home front with your lovely lady!!
