Right ride is this Sunday 4/9/05 11am Waitara end of Mountain RD . Should be good weather too .

Was a nice ride, even had a chat to the Ulyssys (sp) riders going south.

Saw (and heard) you lot about 1/4 to 2 going past the Whitecliffs Brewery before Urenui. I was partaking of a sample, talking to Mike, when a howling pack of bikes cranked into the sweeper leading onto that long straight. Most impressive! What was that red bike in front of you, Scott? If Id pulled finger and stopped talking to rellies, I would've joined you lot at Waitara....oh well!

Was a Triumph 595 . Thought i'd better show him what real speed was so wound up the GSXR to just under Mach 3 .

Well suppose I'd better give a run down for today . Great turn out for my short notice ride , but 12 + bikes still turned up . Roads where 9 1/2 -10 so there was plenty of grip on offer for those that wanted to try their tyre's out & they got tryed alright !! Some quick riding was had by all . Got to ride a Friends RSVR 1000 Aprilia from Mt Messenger where we stopped for a regroup . Got some Sweet Action shot's of a couple of rider's coming up to Mt to the top . The RSVR was not quite as good as I would have thought it should have felt like for all the Ohlins front / back suspension , damper etc on it . And even tho it had good power nothing like the GSXR . Had to be rev'd quite hard to get it moving fast which then high lighted the Vibes from the motor which didn't do much for me . My GSXR just handled better . Still major pace was had by all & alot of fun from some of the newer face's that where there too .All & all a Top day for the " NAKI Speed Crew "

Yep have a excellent fast ride group here that know the roads well & ride in a group fast so ya don't get any better than that
