Well with my very successful tour now come and gone it time to pass the FJR on to some other lucky guy or girl to continue touring New Zealand and the many awesome roads still to do , i racked up a bum numbing 5000ks or so and i think i could not have picked a better bike to do it on.With only 13k now on her and probably just run in , shes all cleaned up and ready to go.The bike currently at a friends in clevedon south of Auckland to be viewed by appointment (pm me for contact number) and we can help with shipping within nz too.I'm asking $12990 but very neg. on the price. Thanks to all the KB riders for info. for the tour as you all were very helpful.I can't wait to do it again but with family and work commitments that may be along way away.It is also on trademe so check it out for more pics. Thanks Reece.

That's a lot of coin for something 8 years old that looks like a burgman scooter from the front on view.

Have you seriously only done 13,600km?
At that price it's a steal. And seriously tempting...

No, he's only done around 5,000km. Someone else presumably did 8,000 odd during the preceding 8 years. I reckon you'd double the mileage in the first two months if you bought it, talk about depreciation

Yes that correct k's (i did 5500 on my tour) that's one of the reasons i purchased the bike , i don't know about a steal ,but i am very open to serious offers, tempt me :msn-wink:

tempt me
I'm presuming that this is bog standard, no mods?
2006 is pre-ABS. Has it had a tyre change or is it still on the OEM Bridgestones?
I'm actually a bit nervous about an eight-year-old bike that has done so few km.

This one does have ABS , and had new continental tyres fitted when i bought it which didn't let me down once , i did an oil & filter change(i'm a mechanic) as we were curious to see the oil condition as the bike has had little use and found nothing to be worried about. The first day from Auckland to Ohakune was my first ride on the bike and i was listening for anything that didn't sound or feel right ,there was nothing.

they are a very good bike though.
They are the best sports touring motorcycle ever made. Nothing else touches them, no matter how you want to measure features or performance.
