you could try Mr Motorcycles in Pukekohe or perhaps Botany Honda.

Last time I was there last year Mr Motorcycle was trying to move out of the road bike scene, in terms of bikes and gear – which is a pity because great people work there. I haven't had enjoyable dealings with Botany Honda.

Might just be easier to make the trek into the big smoke to a place like Motomail. They have a good selection there.

Iv had nothing but the best from them, sure they dont like older bikes ( like my old MC17 cbr250rh) but they are a treat otherwise!

Don't rush your helmet purchase. Take the time to go into the City. Coleman's and Red Baron are close together, Motomail is just the other side of Ponsonby, and then a quick hop over the bridge gets you to Cycletreads. Between them you should find just the thing. Make a morning of it, and don't end up regretting a hasty purchase.

Curiously, after trying on every helmet in my budget from every brand in all those shops I still couldn't get the fit and features I was looking for, so I ended up buying an American spec Bell RS1 online and it has been brilliant. I only mention this to point out how many different helmets you might need to try to get one that is just right.
