if you don't count the "road works" as you go past Kaitoke Gardens.

A whole lot of cones on the Kaitoke's but not a lot of evidence of work going on.

Anyway, no work still, and no interviews today so a quick ride was in order.

Up over Wallaceville Hill to Whiteman's Valley, past Maymorn, out Plateau Road on to the Kaitokes and stopped at the top for a nice photo.

Not really a worry. You don't notice it at all going up, but coming back over from the Wairarapa side once you go back down the hill its a bit strong on the first sharp left and for about 100 metres after that.

In other words, no different than usual. Oh, and there's bugger all traffic at 11 in the morning too...

Pity I have to go pick up Timothy from school or I'd go back up again.

The wind is non-existent in Upper Hutt ATM so I'd say it'll still be good in a few hours.
