It seems the reputation of this company is quite well spread.

I was downtown and had just parked when a pretty red Honda Shadow pulled in a couple of spaces away. Off this pretty red bike, hopped a pretty young lady. I won't say her name in case I embarrass her but I did stop to tell her what a nice colour her bike was.

Well, as you do when discussing bikes, the conversation turned to other bikes we had owned and when she mentioned a 109R we both agreed they were an animal worth riding! Then the topic became where she and her partner bought it from and being in Auckland I would have expected them to have sourced it locally.

Alas, she bemoaned, the service from a well known Auckland Suzuki dealer left them both cold and disallusioned to the point she rang the owner and complained, telling him in concise terms how much he had lost due to the attitude of the sales staff.

They then rang Wellington Motorcycles about one they had in the shop. Long story short, they were flown down, met at the airport and the bike was immaculately presented on the shop floor, gassed up and ready for them to ride off on it! They dealt with someone by the name of Craig or Clint, she couldn't remember, but she was certainly very impressed with the way the shop treated them and said she would have no hesitation in buying from them in future and has been telling her friends about them.

So another bouquet to Wellington Motorcycles. :first: I have no advantage in telling this story, I just feel good service should be acknowledged more often.

I bought some gear from them. Always a professional attitude. I got a SENA bluetooth device from them. They fitted and tested it and rang me after a week to make sure everything was working properly and I was happy with the device. Nice to see something other than grab your money and run.

Riiiight. Sounds more like arse kissing with the hope of flogging off a few more batteries on to them

Still, they are a decent bunch there.

Lol! Nah, they do okay for me. If it was any dealer, I would have mentioned it.

Something the Auckland dealer wouldn't even do. Didn't seem to want a sale at all.

was up in wellington a few weeks ago and went to the triumph shop to get my chain tightened (was supposed to be done by the shop in chch when it was getting some work done but i never noticed it wasnt done till too late) anyway the triumph shop in wellington was to busy to help me out

went to wellington motorcycles and they did it for me right then and didnt even charge me for it - was a bit of mucking around for them so really appreciate the effort they put in for me. had to be in auckland that night so was good to see the harley shop helping out a triumph when i was let down my the triumph dealer
