Well I got my full licence last week, so it's time to step up to something big and bad. I can't properly risk my life on the RS125 any more :Punk:

You can check it out on trademe here: http://www.trademe.net.nz/structure/auction_detail.asp?id=34241268

First the details:
It is an Aprilia RS 125, 2002 model.
Has only done 9,500 kms
Engine: 125cc, single cylinder, two-stroke, liquid cooled.
Electric starter
Lap timer / data logger
Weight: only 114kgs!!! Makes the bike very chuckable and easy to control.

It is New Zealand new, and I am the 2nd owner, having owned it almost from new since Feb 2003. I have had the bike serviced regularly at an official service agent (AMPS). I always use the best fully synthetic 2-stroke racing oil. The bike is in fantastic condition.

I'm looking for $7,900. Gimmie a call or text if you're keen - 021 045 0642

Would consider a part trade +cash on a black or red Suzuki TL1000R or Honda SP-1, or a red 2005 Kawasaki ZX-6R. When you see the colour of my leathers, you'll know why I need a bike that's those colours!

why don't you race it?

Why don't I race it? Because I'm a pretty average rider actually...

Nah, I don't have time for racing, only for playing, so I figure I might as well play with something bigger.

Ok, I traded in the Aprilia on a brand new ZX-6R!!! It's great!

Now I just have to finish the running in period... :(

Look forward to it, obviously after I've run in the bike.

I tell ya, it takes a lot of willpower to ride on the motorway, in the slow lane, doing about 80km/hr on your brand new ZX-6R... Still, a few more evening rides & I should be past the first 800km and I can start riding at 100km/hr on the motorway, yay!

Actually it's a good way to get used to the bike without doing anything dangerous.
