Oh noes... policeman beats 17yr old because he's suffering from stress and walks due to police instigating the wrong type of investigation. (http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/22068718/police-fail-to-investigate-officer-assault/).

My favourite part

"Supt Knowles has offered to apologise to the victim's family on behalf of police.

He said changes had been made since 2011 to the way investigations into police officers are handled and he is "confident that things would be handled differently now"."

Justification for getting away with it?

Well,...did the "youth" trash the guy's letterbox? The article doesn't make that clear. If he did - the copper did what I would liked to have done to the pieces of pond scum who bashed mine in to pieces.

Another case of the cops protecting their own. The cops claimed it was not in the public interest to proceed with a prosecution. How the fuck can they justify that statement?

It's me. I respect other peoples property enough not to damage it (unless they deserve it for nearly running me over).

A clip around the ear is one thing, a kickin is something entirely different, a beating with a weapon is something entirely different again.

Should have hit him harder, little wastes of oxygen are very prevalent in crimechurch

I keep my shotgun close at hand and will use it to defend my property and myself with no hesitation, the cops can tl do their job properly because of all the bleeding heart mummies letting their little angels express themselves

If he could still run home crying to mummy, I would suggest it was not much of a beating with a weapon. The times I have been beaten with a weapon, I have usually woken up in hospital wondering what the fuck was going on. Not crying about injustices to my mummy.:bleh:

The bit that cracks me up is this response from the IPCA

"However, given the length of time since the assault and the fact that police told the officer he would not be prosecuted, the IPCA said reopening an investigation would be an abuse of process."

So clearly police process is above the law then. Glad that's cleared up

I must remember that if I decide to go on a rampage because I feel stressed. "Assault with a deadly weapon, how do you plead?", Not Guilty, "On what grounds?", I was stressed and they deserved it and they walked away so it wasn't really a beating, "Case dismissed". Sounds reasonable.

Don't worry, the new Police gang commissioner [Mike Bush] is said to have serious criminal allegations against him.

One of the best things that has happened to me in a long time, as it turns out. See thats what happens when you keep an optimistic and positive attitude, things that would normally get someone all bitter and twisted, turn into pure gold.:msn-wink:

And I still dont have to pay for my weed.:bleh:

Yeah the same guy that described Arthur Allan Thomas' "evidence planter" as having integrity beyond reproach and a man of great character.

There's no change at the top of popo-ville.

We need more cops like this, should be put in charge of new recruit training. This is what NZ used to be like when our streets were safe and people were allowed to look after there own property.
Had some letter box smashers in our street once, cops caught them. Young lad proceeded to nut off and call the two cops (one female) all the dirty names he knew. Was very disappointed they didn't bonnet slam him or anything...
