Hi all,

Sorry something strange happened to my previous post...

I'm looking at some mods on my Zuma, and I'd love to hear your advice/comments on it, especially because this is a first for me :)

The first things I want to mod are the fenders. For the rear I think I will be buying a kit from Bestem USA (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-GW250-Inazuma-GSR250-Undertail-Black-/111277827322?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19e8ace4fa), see video below it looks pretty easy for a rookie to do.

Otherwise this approach (http://www.suzukigw250.org/forum/new-members-introduction/737-hi-new-zealand-2.html#post9346) looks good too. I'm not sure about the indicators with Bestem's kit, they look really small and don't know if NZ road-legal...

Regarding the front fender, I've been thinking a lot about cutting it sharp with a circular saw. See attachments, I'm thinking about cutting along the white-dotted line. I would only be using the top screws and not the side screws anymore.

I will also drill the rear plate of the exhaust to make it sounds better

Regarding the exhausts, what do you guys think on getting rid of one of them and sealing its hole? Leaving only the right exhaust with its rear plate pierced..

Thanks in advance for your help!

and this is why lawyers are to be avoided.

Should I take that as a big no no?

Don't bother drilling holes in the rear end, will sound gay.
Dropping a muffler will only leave you with one very restrictive crap muffler, so no.
I'd get a sharp long rod and slam in in and out of the hole (on the mufflers, you ride buggers) to get rid of any baffle plates directly in the line of the flow
Cosmetic wise, go for gold

Hi ducatilover,

Sorry about late reply, this thread is really buggy, have posted two replies and none came up...
Anywayyy, thanks a lot for your answers. Since then I've ordered that undertail shown in the video and will get this muffler (http://www.buychina.com/items/gw250-modified-exhaust-vuotporlmom) next month. No holes/slam in the stock mufflers haha :)

Cheers
