I mate told me about a new accessory shop that has just opened in Auckland so I so I checked it out yesterday. Its called Techmoto and is located at 500 new north road kingsland.
Cool shop, has a good range of quality gear like Arai, Spidi, Nolan, Ventura, Givi etc.
I got talking to the owner who I recognised, its a guy called Phil Scott who originally started Motomail about 20 years ago, good guy and knows his stuff.
I see they have a website www.techmoto.co.nz, Worth a visit if you are in the market for some gear, he said they will have a few opening special deals coming soon, so register on his site for the latest.

Do you work there or have a financial interest in the business?
Good luck to all involved.

You "mate" told you about the place, and that's your one and only contribution to Kiwibiker ever? Yeah right mate.
Nothing wrong with decent merchants pimping their stuff, but someone who has had nothing to do with the community EVER making their debut posting an overt ad for their new business? What a cock.

Actually its a decent shop with a good decent owner, good quality brands and plenty of gadgets that are not usually stocked up in other bike shops. And yes, Phil knows his stuff around everything from suspension and carburetors to sidecars and intercoms.
Well worth checking out.

Recently I have spent more than a few hours at Techmoto.
I have been encouraged to take out and ride with many different helmets in order to find the one that suited me personally.
I'd have to recommend Phil and his Team for their diligence and unstinting commitment to their clients needs.
I still need a decent quiet helmet, but I can say this, I WILL be buying it from Techmoto after the time and effort they have invested in me, my wife and our needs.
So KB'ers. put em on your to go see list, the shop is clean , tidy, well stocked with good brands and the Owner and staff know what they are talking about.
Endorsement, No, just my impressions after riding away without purchasing anything, but feeling quite happy about going back there before I go anywhere else.
Getting that Bm'er upstairs was some feat there Phil, well done.
