People often use a Power Commander to modify fuel maps. I was wondering if there are any tools around for end users to modify the maps on the Honda factory ECU itself? I tried Googling for a while, but the answers seemed rather mixed.

Unless you have the HRC racing ecu, no sorry. The power commander does a good job though, expect to pay double the price for one in NZ of course.Does the predator really need it?, unless it has really bad bumps in the power curve, its a luxury item and not needed.

It doesn't really need it. It does go through a lot of fuel when it is just cruising, and I'd love to lean it up in the lower rev range. I was interested in learning more about fuel injection, and I'd like to get my hands dirty.

You cant flash a Honda ECU.
With my Hornet it runs to cold. If you fool the ECU that its warmer it runs better.
