Fact. Go pros make you crash. Takes nearly 2 minutes but worth watching if you like pointing your finger & sniggering.

Good thing he was able to walk away from that. What a dickhead place to ride like that. Lanes are there for a reason.

He looked to be very skilful in a straight line...
He just didn't look to be riding his own rhythm or riding to his ability.

Crap riding even thought the road has great signage.

Must be a good job selling signs over there.

To be honest I think the signage was the reason he crashed. Had only done half they job of it they do in Ireland...

Meh, would have been better off to spend a couple of hundred pingers on riding lessons than a friggin camera...

To me his lines were shite and absolutely no need to go right of the car, he was only doing about 5 mph. Impatience and illusions of awesomeness on account of the Go Wank camera were his undoing really

rustyrobot
29th March 2014, 13:22
Did the rider go down the hill, or just the camera?

At least that shut up that boring droning exhaust noise.

Rider is a complete cock head, instead of spending his money on a noise pipe he should have gone on a training course

....missed being dead by a millionth of a second......he should go buy a lotto ticket (so should the car driver)

:killingme I'm not familiar with the weekend "biker roads" here in unzud but in the UK there are a few destination roads for a weekend blat, the Cat & Fiddle being one. From the moment the vid started rolling your post is what sprang to mind. Mondays are always busy for the bike shops in the north of England & Border region.
It's quite a scene up there, but, you might be trying to emulate someone like John Mcguiness on a road like that. Not a realistic benchmark.
He rides with, or used to, a group of mates who are all eye wateringly quick. Quite a few BSB racers come from the north.
At the cafes where everybody pulls in for a breather there is much tire checking & manliness.

I have to admit to going through a few hedges & over a wall or two meself, before I grew up and accepted my, and the bikes, limitations.

that rider was in the wrong. cool footage though.

If you freeze it 12 seconds in the car is in the left lane and so is the bike. ...

Hey, even fucktards are allowed their second 15 seconds of fame  in a repost.

What an idiot. When I read the headline I was like "holy shit..." but I should have known better than to make an assumption :msn-wink:

I've been forced onto the other side of the road on a Thursday night on the Rimutakas by the same sort of behaviour. It's both more common than you thought and closer to home than previously suspected.

PrincessBandit

Being forced onto the other side is a different issue (wouldn't be a pleasant experience at all to have been in the driver's shoes) - this rider obviously can't (or doesn't want to) read the big writing on the road.

(my re-reading of James' post caused me to reword my original response)

Another sports bike rider riding faster than he has skill.

I'd say. Should ban sports bikes all together and stick to cruisers like these fine gentlemen.

And look at how the road jumped out at this upstanding citizen! That sports bike before him upset it.

The fucktard who merged my awesome thread with this shit one can get fucked.

If I wanted to post shit just for sports bike riders I fucking would.

How about your fuck sticks just delete my thread if you can't handle it rather then putting it in places it was never meant to be.

Not really - I was in a car and I saved the dumb prick's arse from having to do the same thing as this guy, but over a vertical drop. Practically the same corner profile too.

Just fucking lucky no one was here to witness the fury of my fist shaking.

Nearly busted out a Haka.
