'Richland Ricks' fork brace for DL650 (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=709321998) (may fit DL1000, up to you to find out). Improves handling in corners and cross-wind performance particularly.

See TradeMe for more detail; feel free to ask questions.

Having fitted a fork brace to my DL, I fully recommend one. It made a big difference to the cornering.

Ive heard a bit both ways on braces. Some say very bad as it can cause binding and others like you say there great. I wouldnt mind trying one some time.

The one I have clamps to the forks and has an independent slide action between the forks that is clamped lastly. These appear to be a set distance between fork centres. If there was any type of discrepancy or runout then I guess it would show up as binding.

This one is for 650 only, same people do a different one for the thou.

This is the one I have. Recommend. But it is always the case that you should only fit to a bike that has known straight forks. ie, has not been crashed etc.
Two best mods I have done have been TRE and fork brace.
