Shaun,
I didn't see you there???

Anyhow, as for my report...

Checked some machines in the morning as one of 3 Machine Checkers for the day.
Some really awesome looking bikes came through.

Had lunch.

Went out in the Race Class straight after lunch for the first time on my CBR 600 in it's current guise.
It has been sitting for a very long time. The tyres were not round at all!
Rode around getting used to the extra power and speed compared to the 250.

Came in with an enormous smile on my face.

Next session I went out with the goal of working on reference points (Brakes on, Brakes off, Turn, Gas, Apex, Exit) and body position.
Was a very productive 15 minutes and I really started to feel comfortable on the 600.
Sorry to all the faster bikes if I got in your way......

Last Session I went out in Novice Class, as I though that was going to be the last for the day.
Started at the back of the pack.
Rode around watching a few other riders.
Got in a bit of a dice with a guy called Andrew on a CBR900.
Cooled it off before we both got sent home.

All in all I was quite impressed with the large number of bikes that came out for the track day.
I was also impressed by the behaviour of all the riders on the day.

Keep an eye out for more Victoria Motorcycle Club Track Days.
