CR250 rear caliper retainer?

hey everyone, I'm not sure if i'm posting in the right section here but admin feel free to move it if it isn't.
Alright so I have a 2001 CR250 and I had a friend come over a few days ago and he said I was missing my rear caliper retainer like I have the retainer bolt I think it's called but I'm missing the small little metal piece, I'm just wondering if it's safe to run it like this or should I get one asap?

which part are you meaning ?? link below for caliper.
if its no:4 not super critical stops them from rattling and slide easyer.

heya, yeah it is number 4. If I don't have it will it make the let the pads pop out or anything?
