Who/where would be the best person/place to talk to about making a set of spanners for an idea I have in nz?.

I have an idea that might take off and may patent it if it is feasable but need to get a set made first.

Send me the plans and I'll get back to you ...................:innocent:

Spose it depend on how tricky the design is? Can they be cast or do they need to be CNC'ed?

Spanners are drop forged, don't know if anyone does that here. Maybe you can modify standard ones to prove the idea.

Sounds like a plan. Hmmmmm interested now - there are the ratchet ones on the market that work well, my favourite spanner in my tool kit is one with a open end 10 mm on one end and the equivalent of a small 10 mm socket with a flexi join on the other. I adore it and would like to find more it different sizes.

You can heat standard spanners with a oxy and bend them in a vice.
Useful for getting cunt starter motor bolts off.

Never thought I would see a ratcheting open-ender. Pretty sure about 10 years ago I said to OAB, 'Let's see them make a ratcheting open-ender!'. Now I have a whole set of them. Weirdest shit ever.
