Was wondering if I should adjust pressure for track day.
Normally run 36 front 40 rear on the road.
Any recommendations?

30/32 to start with. You're looking for a rise of 4-5 psi from cold to hot if the pressures are good. Any more and they're too low, and less and they're not low enough.

You didnt state what make and model / compound of tyres. Not all manufacturers run the same pressures as carcass construction and compounds etc vary widely.
Are you using tyre warmers?

Crasher is partly right.. With Regard to 4-5 PSI Rise.
As Robert alluded to, not all manufacturers make the same tyre.
I would say 30 is close for the front, but you could go even lower on the rear.
Dunlops carcasses are very hard.....

Lol. That's what happens when you (as in I) haven't ridden on most modern tyres vs sportbikes!

Side note on carcass hardness.... I see Shinko are advertising a new tire that has carbon fibre in the sidewalls..... Surely a gimmick to sell tires, or a bitch to get fitted.

Nothing that hasn't been a cunt already. It's not the sidewall that makes 'em difficult to fit.

I would just go 30 in each to start with. Don't worry about getting too technical just yet. can get all a bit much if you try to do it all at once.

Dunlop already got CF in the Q3 released last year...
