I spent a couple of weeks in March riding on the dirt roads in New Zealand on my TE610. I was traveling solo with a tent and camping gear, taking it easy, basking in the amazing scenery.

A full trip report, with about 150 photos, maps and blog is at: www.advtrail.com (http://www.advtrail.com).

Great vid Jon - recognise the Nevis, Dunstan Trail,Takapari Rd and Waikaremoana - travel well - may the road rise up to meet you and the wind be always on your back as you journey. Stephen.

Awesome.:2thumbsup Word of advice though, putting a tent up under big old man pines like that is asking for trouble:nono:, they have a habit of breaking off and sending down widow makers.

Thats good advice, next time I'll make sure to check upwards. I was seduced by the comfy pine needles underneath.

Appreciate the thumbs up, oneblackflag.

And thanks Stephen and Chris, it was a pleasure riding with you. New Zealand is very special.
