Hey All,
The last three weeks have been a blast on the new bike.
Each time I even think about riding, I get a small ball of nerves and excitement stir in the belly. :D
Each week I get a bit better with traffic, corners, gears and braking.
And the ride with Crashe last Sunday was invaluable - thx!
I've had the back tire replaced by the kind and professional dudes at Colemans when cracking was noticed in it on both sides. And the brake lever bent back in, after I couldn't hold it and dropped it about half a metre.
But tonight was a bit disappointing. I've finally had my first proper drop...
Going into Real Groovy 'coz I just couldn't hold out for The Stranglers best of anymore, and I was turning the bike around on a lean and cut in too tight.
So the bike fell away from me, and I did a roll away from it.
Bugger! :(
I'd broken the right front indicator shell and broken about 1cm of the steel off of the footpeg... And bent the right brake lever again.
Bit gutted. But I know stuff like this would happen. I even thought I had broken the wing mirror, but managed to fix that on the spot at least.
So, there goes a bit of pay to get a new indicator shell before next weekend and hopefully my disappointment will pass in a few hours. O_o
-----------------------------------------------
To prevent making multiple posts, I have a couple of questions...
- I can't seem to find a manual for the Zeal. Can anyone help with a link?
- What are the best tyres for the bike? Is it just preference, or does it not matter?
Thx :)
