Just read that and yes they probably will be stupid enough.
There was a duke 907 taken up here recently, they aerosol spray bombed it, ripped back fairings off and rode it for two days before crashing into kerb and doing runner...
Going back a few months there was a hotted up HSV taken and it was driven around at speed for few days attracting attention before they got pulled by observant neighbours.
At least the RC8 has the potential to easily hospitalise anyone who doesn't know how to ride a high horsepower bike.

I hope the thief crashes it and dies, with a good insurance payout to the rightful owner(s). That would be really funny.
