Hi all!
I've been lurking around here for a couple of days now and I thought it was about time I said Hi!
What a great site we have here. Lots of info and Ive already found a few rides that I will be going on. Great to see people putting the info out there for everyone.
I hope to catch up with some other members on the roads, somewhere sometime.

Welcome to the Kiwibikers and especially to the Wellington bunch which I'm sure you'll meet soon enough. So whats your background? Are you Titahi born and bred?
How long have you been riding? Do you ride the wairarapa much?

Ive lived in "The Bay" for 11 years now. Born in Elsdon just down the road but grew up in Levin.
Ive been riding for over 17 years now, both on & off road, but at the moment just road riding.
Yeah I get over the hill a fair bit and enjoy the roads out the back of Martinborough and around the Lake Wairapapa area.
Thanks for the welcome :ride: all of you.

Welcome to the madhouse.

Next year I might do a few trips to wellington. Does anybody at the top of the south know how safe it is to leave your bike at the ferry terminal?

Would be nice to ride up, cross over into town, go shopping, cross back and ride back down again in a weekend.

Why not bring your bike with you? Interislander do a weekend return for you & bike for $100 (well it was a couple of months ago) That way at least you can get around and maybe come for a blast over the Rimutakas and back!
