Time for me to start saving . . . .Nice looking machine. Hey how bad is the wind at high speed on those Fazers without front side fairings? Those FZ1's can't be that behind the R1 in acceleration considering they house the same engine!

Start saving?
You've been saving since you bought the current one.
Geoff, management will approve it, because it keeps him out of her hair.

Hi Jim
I'd just get the THE LOOK over the top of my Management's glasses and that would be that. :dodge:

Wind is fine at "high speed" will be giving the 2001 FZ1 another blast in a couple of weeks.
This is the 2006 model just announced in the US and Canada. Gotta wait a whole year for it to arrive.

Management recognises the factor, plus I always said that I would purchase the fuel injected model when it came out.
Now for a hard decision. Do I keep the first FZ1 with 87700kms or trade it in?
Looks like it only comes in the slower colors of Red (Burgundy) and Silver, and not the faster blue model. I wonder what colours NZ will have.

They look very nice in both colours. With shaft drive, I could go one. On second thoughts, I could just go one. I quite like the idea of the bikini fairing, especially after my very costly off.

You know that it is the things in life that you DON'T do, that you regret when you look back on a life mis-spent, eh?

Very nice. I thought Yamaha may have tried to release this model in conjunction with their 50th celebrations. But no.
