Swap: BMW K1200RS Remus pipe for a stock one

My old man has just bought a 1997 BMW K1200RS with a Remus aftermarket pipe on it. He's always ridden with stock pipes and he wants to swap it for a standard pipe. Anyone with a K1200 wanting to upgrade to a nice pipe? I haven't heard it yet, but dad describes it as "not loud", but still too loud for him :)

Dad's spoken to someone there - they have a stock pipe they'll sell him for $600. I'm hoping to do a bit better than that.
