Hi all,

Just joined up here for a bit of a head start, really and to see how the scene's going down in the land of long white cloud. We (that's the missus and I) are currently living in Ireland - and have been since 2005. I am actually German and she's a Christchurch girl. I'm sure she'll join in her own right soon enough so I'll leave it at that.

So what else - ah yeah. I got back into bikes only few years ago after a roughly 15 year break. Got myself a 1983 Yamaha XJ750, then a '93 Kawasaki ZZR 1100 and finally a 2002 ZZR 1200. Absolutely loved that yoke. Toured around France with the missus on the back in 2012 and the around Germany in 2013. Then crashed it in February this year because of some thick cow pulling out in front of me and the insurance wrote it off. Effing gutted!

However, we are moving to the beautiful South Island of New Zealand at the end of this year. Initially to Christchurch but we intend to move to the North of the South (if you get my drift) within a couple of years. Once we get down there, I'll be looking for a second hand but well maintained ZZR 1400, so if you're planning on selling one, please do keep me in mind. And yes, as you can see from my username, I've a thing for the ZZR's.

Well, that's all for starters - any questions - just fire away. I'm sure I'll have plenty of my own in due course.

Thanks all
