It's going to be on the Wed 14th next week, Since everyone is from all over Auckland I suggest we meet down at Princess wharf, at 2130 We will all decide where we want to ride, Yes mission bay sounds alright done that a few times. So we will play "the destination" by ear.
Hope to see you there!!

This sounds like a real fast past ride up and down the motorway. I think I'll pass as 150kph is the fastest I can go and probably slower than what you all are planning on hitting ;)

Could be interested myself... Might get another 1 or 2 .. as bit of training for the Grand Challenge !!

hmm I wasn't planning on doing any motorway racing.
I just like riding round, being a safe biker, and to practise more night riding because I'm hopeless at it. :)

i better not come then. I was planning on pleanty of m/way racing and cop baiting (at least until they get the chopper out to play), i only like riding round if it's on one wheel, front or rear, and the only safe biker thing about me, is when i'm tucked up in bed and the bikes in the garage.

Will see though, if i can russle enough coin for a tank of gas, i may come out, if i'm not working trying to get money in order to be able to afford to ride my bike to and from work, not sure why i'm working to be honest, think i'll stay at home not ride and play Battlefeild 2 all day.

No not really, made me feel like two inches tall (kinda like you), and any advantage i had over the 5-0 was no longer there.

Well, this only means one thing! Turbo it!!! While you'r doing that, you might as well NOS it for good measure too!! It'll be like loosing the over head chopper, just like in gone in 60 secs.

Dont you be worring bout the 5-0 mate, you leave that to me, ya see cop goes to pull you up, you're thinking on shit $400 fine for being out after 10pm, not so cause ol loosebruce pulls a wheelie past you and the cop, (red rag to the bull) cop then chases me leaving you alone, of course i get away scot free re group and carry on with the ride until the next cop trys to pull somone and so on.

Of course no one knows who i am...................

Just got back from the ride... Restrictedly early of course (gotta love 50dm tally...) *cough pussy*

Met at the maratime museum and proceeded along waterfront to mission bay and then onto the point (whatever it is called). Then we went down riddell road which was interesting.... 8 bikes in the 'silence' of the night having a good time.

Met loosebruce at hells in glendowie and then left... to my place which is 2 k's away.

They are heading off to the airport now I think... so all police should focus their attentions on major roads leading there  (especially on the silver gixxer).

Good to meet mr skid, damon (nice backfiring O_o), the guy on the blackbird (didn't talk! hi whoever you are), phenoix again, CaN? and I think warr by looking at ya bikes.

Should do another one later on.. bit earlier for us L/R wimps :violin:

Oh well never mind...
Home now...

Hope whoever went on the ride had fun...

Update: Phenoix just rung....
They are still at the airport....

Hey guys, nice ride, i left early, some stupid road works sent us onto the motorway north so i took the hint and headed home.

It was good to meet a few more of the gang, who was that ramdom english guy that thought a VFR800 had more top end speed than a Blackbird? :tugger:

If someone organises another count me in.

All back to hams by 1am all good. Bit of rain - not that you notice once you are underway. Smooth patches of road are interestingly slipperly. Makes you wonder if the speed needs to be reduced.
Hard to get you Auckland guys out of the city tho!!

Yea blew the seal clean out of the bottom of the fork and dumped half a litre of fork oil all over the show, got me baffled as i didn't even land it all that hard.
Ah well, put it back in today and gave everything a good clean, had to clean the disc's pretty hard out and had to put my spare brake pads in as the ones in there were poked.
But she all good now, ready for the next thing to break :woohoo:
