Aprilia RS125 power valve service?

My RS125 still hits it's powerband but I don't think it hits it as hard as it should..

Does anyone know how much a general service for a RS125 would cost or how much it costs to service the power valve?

Super easy to do yourself, if you have the tools or can find someone who does. Have a look for the workshop manual, and pop onto the af1 forums, they have a 125/250 section.

2 strokes go best if you give them regular basic maintenance, you'll get more satisfaction if you learn to do the basics yourself. Hell you might even feel like taking on a piston change when it comes time if you get some practice/confidence now.

Good point, I would if I were going to keep the little beast but I think it's time for me and her to part ways

I might still service her power valve myself though, I do have a workshop manual handy

Definitely give the relevant parts a read through... if it looks like your bag, give it a go.

Shame to have to let it go, we won't be seeing anything like those again.
